Yorkville Sound Launches MI-themed Podcast
Pro audio manufacturer and distributor Yorkville Sound has created the Yorkville Sound Podcast, a monthly discussion podcast aimed at music and pro audio enthusiasts. It’s available now on Apple Podcasts and Spotify with the video version on Yorkville’s YouTube channel.
Each episode will feature a knowledgable guest from the music product industry.
“We look forward to in-depth discussions with sound engineers, producers, touring musicians, retailers and more,” said Jeff Cowling, Yorkville Sound’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We have some outstanding conversations ahead of us.”
The first episode, which debuted on July 17, features an interview with Todd Michael, Yorkville’s head loudspeaker designer. Hosted by Yorkville’s Dave Lawrence, Todd told the story of his journey from building furniture to designing Yorkville’s groundbreaking Synergy Array Series.
“The old saying ‘If these walls could talk’ is the best way to describe the podcast,” Cowling said. “On one hand, we have a tremendous well of expertise within the building to impart tips, advice and behind-the-scenes insight to the Yorkville catalog. On the other hand, we have over 50 years of contribution to music history.”
