The Guitar Tracker Launches Free App
To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of The GuitarTracker website, TheGuitarTracker.com, MusicNomad has launched the GuitarTracker App, which is now available for free download in the Apple Store and Google Play Store. Since 2014, The Guitar Tracker website has helped thousands of guitarists and techs track and maintain their guitars, amps and pdedals.
With the app, userws can easily set up their gear’s key info — including photos, serial number, price paid, setup specifications and make/model. Users can keep track of string tuning, string brand and gauge for each guitar and also export all your gear details into Excel for their records. Users can be alerted when a task, such as a guitar setup, humidify start date or restring is coming up and create their own special tasks and have the application alert them when those are due, as well. Users can view and email themselves or any other interested party a complete history of their gear modifications or maintenance.
“Whether you want to keep records for insurance or just love staying organized around the gear you own and its maintenance, we wanted to give a free, useful tool to the MusicNomad community,” said Rand Rognlien, CEO of MusicNomad. “The website has been a big hit for years, but now with the App, it is quicker and more efficient.”
