Summer NAMM 2021 Best In Show Winners Announced
Summer NAMM returned last week from July 15–16 at Music City Center in Nashville, Tennessee, bringing MI back together after a year-and-a-half COVID-19 break. One of its highlights was the Friday morning session in which a panel of retailing experts declared what they found Best In Show — a NAMM Show tradition. The panel included Geoff Metts, owner of Five Star Guitars in Hillsboro, Oregon; Leslie Stirm, owner of Instrumental Music Center in Tucson, Arizona; Robert Christie, owner of A&G Central Music in Madison Heights, Michigan; and Tim Spicer, owner of Spicer’s Music in Auburn, Alabama. The panel was moderated by Frank Alkyer, president of Music Inc. and UpBeat Daily.
The winners in the awards’ four categories are listed below. Full coverage of the session with commentary from the panelists on all the winning gear will be featured in the September issue of Music Inc. Don’t miss it!
