She Rocks Announces Full Lineup of 2023 Award Recipents
The Women’s International Music Network (WiMN) will hold its 11th annual She Rocks Awards on April 13 at The Ranch in Anaheim, California, during The 2023 NAMM Show. The awards celebrate and honor female artists, industry executive and media personalities throughout the music industry.
This year’s She Rocks Awards recipients include: Judy Collins, platinum-selling singer/songwriter; Noelle Scaggs, member of Fitz and the Tantrums; Shelly Peiken, Grammy-nominated songwriter; Mary Spender, Youtube star; Gretchen Menn, guitarist; Michelle Bell, VP of creative for Roc Nation; Lisa S. Johnson, photographer and author of 108 Rock Star Guitars and Immortal Axes; Katherine Wing - VP of marketing for Roland; Stacey Ryan, COO of School of Rock; and Helen Culleton, COO of Audiotonix.
“I like to give thanks to organizations like The She Rocks Awards who highlight women excelling in the music industry today and every day,” Collins said. “I have been a working musician for over six decades, and I know firsthand how important supporting women in music is. It’s vital to our creativity and our economic growth. It’s a great honor to be part of the group of talented women being honored on April 13.”
Hosted by PRS Guitars, this year’s opening performer will be Canada’s Juno award-winning alternative band The Beaches. This event will be co-hosted by former She Rocks Awards honoree Lisa Foxx, radio host for myFM and iHeartRadio, and Aijia Grammer, an LA-based musician.
