Roxy Music Changes Ownership
New owner Ken Grace Jr. addresses a crowd outside of Roxy Music ahead of the re-opening event.
On August 1, Roxy Music in La Porte, Indiana, held a grand re-opening event celebrating its new ownership. Ken and Heidi Grace purchased the 84-year-old dealership from the Kabelin Hardware Company.
During the event, the full-line dealership welcomed family, friends and community members to celebrate the change of ownership with a party just after the paperwork was officially signed.
“The store is 84 years old, and my goal over the next five years is to turn this into a destination store,” said Ken Grace Jr., the new owner. “I want to turn this into a place where people can come in and just make music.”
