On-Stage Strikes Exclusive Canadian Distribution Deal with B&J Music
The Music People, a division of Jam Industries USA, LLC, a leading supplier of musical accessories and pro-audio equipment and parent company of On-Stage and TMP-Pro, has reached an exclusive Canadian distribution deal with B&J Music. The deal goes into effect April 1.
Founded in 1931 and headquartered in Baie-D’Urfe, Quebec, B&J Music is a leading distributor of top musical instrument brands, spanning the spectrum of the industry — from guitars and keyboards to drums and percussion. Since 2015, B&J has been a division of Jam Industries.
With this deal in place, On-Stage will join some of the top brands in the industry under B&J’s portfolio, including Takamine Guitars, Ovation, Gretsch Drums, ROLI, Supro and more.
“As fellow divisions of the Jam family, we are excited to begin an exclusive distribution partnership with B&J,” said Tom Tedesco, vice president of sales for On-Stage. “Canada is an important market for the On-Stage brand, and with B&J’s 90+ years in the MI industry, we are positioned well for continued growth in the future.”
“B&J Music, division of Jam Industries, is pleased and proud to become the exclusive distributor for On-Stage in Canada,” said David McAllister, vice president of B&J Music. “Since 1979, On-Stage has set the standard for innovation, quality and value in the music instrument and pro-audio accessories market. This award-winning brand perfectly complements the B&J Music ion family of first-call, market-leading product lines. We look forward to working closely with the On-Stage team to bring excellence in sales, service and support to all our valued Canadian music dealers.”
