NASMD Postpones March Meeting
The National Association of School Music Dealers (NASMD) released a statement on Jan. 2 announcing it has postponed its in-person convention, originally scheduled to be held March 17-20, 2021.
In the statement, NASMD said: “We’ve heard you and your concerns about gathering as a group and traveling in March. We’re not throwing in the towel just yet, but in the interests of our members’ health and safety, your NASMD board of directors has decided to postpone our March 17-20, 2021, in-person meeting. We hope to reschedule the convention for later this spring or summer, and will share that information as soon as we know more.”
NASMD mentioned that those who already booked a room at the convention’s planned site, Legacy Lodge Lake Lainer, will be hearing from the hotel directly about event and room cancellations.
