Midwest Clinic Wraps Annual Conference

The 76th annual Midwest Clinic International Band, Orchestra and Music Conference took place from Dec. 19–22 at Chicago’s McCormick Place. Despite a looming winter storm that cut the show short, crowds of B&O suppliers, educators and students attended the event that featured live performances, educational session and a bustling exhibition hall.
“We had an amazing Midwest Clinic, with many performances, two book launch parties and an enthusiastic response to our newest band, jazz and orchestra music. I left filled with the incredible stories and energy from the composers and educators who visited with us throughout the week,” said Anne Sobel, marketing for Excelcia Music Publishing, Wingert-Jones Publications, Kendor Music Publishing & RBC Publications. “We’re honored to represent so many talented composers with the respect that they deserve. Midwest inspired me to work to further amplify their voices and connect composers with music educators and their ensembles. When that happened right in our booth, we experienced the sparks!”
