Meyer Music, Band of Angels Announce Annual Art That Blows Event
A piece of art being auctioned.
Mike Meyer, manager of Meyer Music and chairman of Band of Angels — a 501c3 nonprofit that provides musical instruments, scholarships and support to children in need in the greater Kansas City area — has announced the nonprofit’s sixth annual Art That Blows event will be held on July 9 at The Abbott in Kansas City, Missouri.
The event features art created from nonfunctional musical instruments re-purposed by local artists. Guests can bid on the pieces during a silent auction with the proceeds going to fund Band of Angels’ efforts.
This year’s event will feature a piece of art created by artist Robert Hurlburt from Hallmark as well as light food and drinks during the auction.
