Keep Music Alive Announces 8th Annual Teach Music Week

Keep Music Alive, a registered 501(c)(3) promoting music education, has announced it will celebrate its eighth annual Teach Music Week from March 12–27 by partnering with more than 1,000 music schools and music stores in a dozen countries offering a free lesson to new students, both kids and adults. In addition to a multitude of mom-and-pop shops, Keep Music Alive said in a statement that the Music & Arts chain will also participate with a free group guitar lesson at all of its locations, while Canada’s Long & McQuade will promote a virtual learning series to coincide with Teach Music Week. School of Rock and Kindermusik are also encouraging their independent locations to participate with a free lesson or class.
