Kawai Holds 22nd Keyboard Academy
The attendees of the 22nd annual Kawai Keyboard Academy in Long Beach, California.
Thirty salespeople from all over the U.S., Canada and Japan attended the 22nd edition of the Kawai Keyboard Academy in Long Beach, California, from August 7–10.
The attendees were immersed for three-and-a-half days in Kawai’s product line, including its Shigeru Kawai grand pianos, its “K” series uprights, its Aures Anytime pianos, its digital pianos and its Novus hybrids.
More than 1,100 salespeople from North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and South America have attended the Kawai Keyboard Academy over the past two decades.
“As in the past, our regional sales managers and product specialists brought their experience, knowledge and enthusiasm to the fore,” said Cory Callies, VP of corporate strategy. “Each one of them has such a passion for Kawai and for the people that sell our products. We love this event almost as much as the salespeople that attend.”
In addition to classroom instruction, the cornerstone of the Keyboard Academy has helped solidify the concepts and features of Kawai products.
The Kawai Keyboard Academy is open to all Kawai retail salespeople. The next Keyboard Academy has not yet been scheduled, however it is typically held in May or June.
