Jordan Kitt’s Music’s Atlanta VP Passes Away

Steve Mills, Jordan Kitt’s Music’s vice president and general manager in the Atlanta market, passed away on Sept. 17. He was 75.

Born in Newport News, Virginia, on May 26, 1949, Mills and was an avid fan of sports, music and serving his community. Mills performed volunteer work with youth sports in his community for nearly two decades and was deeply involved in the piano industry.

“Our hearts go out to his family and friends, as well as to our Atlanta team that worked so closely together with him these past years,” said Chris Syllaba, president of Jordan Kitt’s Music. “Steve and I also worked together very closely. I learned so much from him, and he was absolutely my right hand in the Alpharetta, [Georgia], store. But, more importantly, he was my friend who I could always rely on for whatever was needed.”
