Instrumental Music Center Announces Leslie Stirm as Sole Owner

Tucson, Arizona-based Instrumental Music Center is now independently owned by Leslie Stirm (formerly Leslie Faltin).
According to a statement from the retailer, Stirm is looking toward re-branding and remodeling the storefront to help revitalize the store’s image and culture following the 2020 exit of former co-owner Mike Faltin.
“We are excited to take IMC to a new level, while at the same time help re-establish local music programs that have been disrupted by COVID-19,” Stirm said.
According to Stirm, one thing that won’t change is IMC’s focus on the customer experience, with beginners of all instruments welcome. Stirm, a University of Arizona alum with strong ties to other women-owned businesses in the community, believes that, despite the pandemic, IMC is stronger than ever. She said in the statement that, though they decided to close a location last year, IMC is planning on open another store in Tucson soon.
IMC was established in 1999 and serves as the premier supplier of musical instruments for all of Southern Arizona.
