Industry Veteran Judd Goldrich Joins Sweetwater
Sweetwater has announced the addition of industry veteran Judd Goldrich to manage artist relations for the large online retailer. In his new role, Goldrich will draw upon his long-term relationships with key artists, music engineers, and producers.
“Judd’s deep family history in the industry, unparalleled expertise and a lifetime worth of connections will be a valuable part of our effort to serve even more musicians and artists,” said Sweetwater Executive Vice President and Chief Sales Officer Jeff Radke. “He is a perfect fit for our culture and will be a true asset as we continue our ongoing commitment to always do the right thing and to exceed our customers’ expectations.”
According to the company, Goldrich has a long history in the music industry. Growing up, he worked at his grandfather’s store, Manny’s Music on New York’s Music Row, where he developed relationships with musicians such as James Taylor, Paul Simon, Steve Jordan, Paul Shaffer and the late John Entwistle of The Who. For the past 16 years, Judd has been with Guitar Center, initially serving as the general manager for its Manhattan store and then as the head of artist relations for the past seven years.
“I am so excited to be part of the Sweetwater team,” Goldrich said in a statement. “Sweetwater has an amazing reputation for customer service, and they have the most loyal customer base in the business. They are completely aligned with my philosophy of giving a next-level V.I.P. experience, and I am looking forward to working with Sweetwater to enhance and expand their artist relations program.”
