Gon Bops Celebrates 70 Years in 2024
Percussion brand Gon Bops has announce the celebration of its 70th anniversary, marking seven decades of craftsmanship, innovative design and a deep-rooted commitment to musical artistry. In honor of this milestone, Gon Bops hosted a special event on Oct. 17 at its facility in Burbank, California.
Founded in 1954 by Mariano Bobadilla, Gon Bops has grown from its humble beginnings to become a renowned name in the percussion industry, widely respected for its quality, distinctive sound, and iconic congas, bongos and cajons. This anniversary event will celebrate the brand’s journey, and highlight the artists and artisans who have helped shape Gon Bops into the influential name it is today.
