Believe It! Don’t Miss NAMM’s Believe in Music Week
Now in full gear, NAMM’s Believe in Music Week started Monday, Jan. 18 and runs through Friday, Jan. 22. Open to members and industry professionals from across the MI, pro-audio and event technology segments, the digital event features a robust marketplace, educational sessions and live performances — providing the industry with a platform to power recovery and support those in need through the NAMM Foundation.
Believe in Music Week’s Marketplace features more than 1,000 brands and connects buyers and suppliers while providing manufacturers with a space to showcase newly launched products. Additionally, more than 150 educational sessions will be held during the week-long event and feature key industry leaders sharing their thoughts on hot topics, from how dealers can save money during the pandemic to the best social media strategies for 2021.
NAMM has also announced that Grammy-award winners Garth Brooks and Melissa Etheridge will be the recipients of NAMM’s Music for Life award. The annual award will be presented at the opening interview sessions on Thursday, Jan. 21 and Friday, Jan. 22. This award recognizes individuals or organizations for their musical accomplishments and inspiring more music makers. On Thursday, Brooks will join NAMM CEO Joe Lamond for a conversation about adapting in uncertain times as well as his storied career, and on Friday, Etheridge will join Lamond for an interview and discussion about reinvention in the time of COVID and her new venture, EtheridgeTV.com.
