Fender Hosts Music Education Event at its Facility
Last week, Fender hosted an event at its Corona, California, facility in an effort to support Vote Arts & Mind, a California ballot measure aimed to increase arts and music education in every California public school.
The event was open to factory staff and the local public and featured meet-and-greets and performances by Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian with his son Revel Ian accompanying him on drums.
Riverdale actor and Motherlover bandmate, Hart Denton, was also in attendance to drive campaign awareness and signatures.
Fender CEO Andy Mooney delivered opening remarks and spoke to the crowd as they lent their signatures for the ballot measure designed to increase arts and music education funding for the six million students in California’s public schools. Corona Mayor Wes Speake also vocalized the city’s support of the initiative.
