ESP Guitars Expands Distribution of Takamine Guitars to Mexico
ESP Guitars, the U.S. distributor of Takamine Guitars, has announced that effective now, the company has also expanded its business with the Takamine brand as the official distributor for Mexico.
“We have exciting plans for making Takamine the number-one acoustic-electric guitar brand for Mexico,” said Miguel Soto, ESP vice president of global sales. “We’re confident that our new distribution network for Takamine in Mexico will be a huge success for our dealers and to the benefit of their many customers.”
“Takamine has long been a renowned guitar manufacturer for Mexican artists,” said Tom Watters, director of product development for Takamine. “Our 6- and 12-string Takamine models have been used by many of Mexico’s most popular and influential musicians for decades. We’re proud to be able to expand the availability of a wider range of Takamine models to musicians throughout the country.”
Takamine’s distribution in Mexico is being focused on four multi-store dealers who service the Mexican musician market nationwide: Karma Music in Mexico City, Gama Music in Monterrey, Faly Music in Puebla, and JP Musical in Chiapas. Takamine has also added Spanish language displays for its website.
