EarthQuaker to Hold EarthQuaker Day 2023
EarthQuaker Day, a day-long community celebration of music, will return on August 5. Created by the Akron, Ohio-based effects pedal company, EarthQuaker Day will welcome everyone from the surrounding communities to its facility in the heart of Akron for a day of activities, prizes, live music, food and more.
The family-friendly celebration begins at 7 p.m. on August 4 at Akron live music venue Musica for EarthQuaker’s Eve, featuring live music from Quiet Zoo, Non Bruises and Angie Haze.
Then, EarthQuaker Day officially begins at 11 a.m. on August 5, with pedal clinics from EQD founder and lead designer Jamie Stillman, and composer and instrument designer Jon Sonnenberg, who recently co-composed Confluence, a special collaboration between the Akron Symphony Orchestra and EarthQuaker Devices.
