Former President of Dollarhide Music Passes Away
William Dollarhide, former president and co-owner of now-shuttered Dollarhide’s Music Center in Pensacola, Florida, passed away on Jan. 16, according to NAMM. He was 74 years old.
Dollarhide and his wife Margaret opened Dollarhide Music Center on March 1, 1988, after Dollarhide previously worked for Jimmie Johnson at Mississippi Music for several years. Dollarhide Music Center closed in 2016, and in more recent years, Dollarhide worked beside the staff at Blues Angel Music in Pensacola providing knowledge and support.
