C&C Drum Co. Announces Line of Snares Raising Money For Social Causes
Gladstone, Missouri-based C&C Drum Co. has announced the Circles for Change line of snare drums, proceeds of which go to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, the ACLU and The Bail Project, depending on which drum customers buy.
The snares—which are available for $499 a piece—include:
Blue and Olive: A 6.5 inch by14 inch 12th & Vine five-ply maple, poplar and maple with seven-ply maple reinforcement rings. Proceeds from this drum will be directly donated to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund.
Peach and Brown: 7 inch by 14 inch 12th & Vine five-ply walnut, poplar and walnut with seven-ply maple reinforcement rings. Proceeds from this drum will be directly donated to the ACLU.
Teal and Menta Green: 8 inch by 14 inch 12th & Vine five-ply maple, poplar and maple with seven-ply maple reinforcement rings. Proceeds from this drum will be directly donated to The Bail Project.
“We’re now in another golden era, an era of awakening and of justice and Circles for Change is our small way of contributing to the fight for both,” the company said in a press release. “We stand with those who march, protest, speak out, and risk their freedom and lives to make this country a better place to live for everyone.”
