Brandi Carlile to Host TEC Tracks Session at NAMM
Brandi Carlile and Dave Way will hold a TEC Tracks session on April 13 at 1 p.m.
This Thursday, during The 2023 NAMM Show, Grammy-award winner Brandi Carlile will join producer and engineer Dave Way for a special TEC Tracks session, “Brandi Carlile on Producing & Uncovering the Artist in the Studio.” The session will take place at 1 p.m. in Room 203A & B at the Anaheim Convention Center.
During this session, Way will interview Carlile to discuss her approach to record production, lessons she has learned when shifting from artist and songwriter to producer, tips and tricks in the studio, what it takes to find “magic” in a process, and the differences between producing her own music versus other artists’ work. A short Q&A will conclude the session.
Carlile is a nine-time Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, performer and producer, and a No. 1 New York Times Best-selling author and activist, who’s known as one of music’s most respected voices.
