Allparts President Steve Wark Announces Retirement
Steve Wark, Houston-based guitar and bass parts supplier Allparts Music’s president and founder, though his LinkedIn lists him as “chief cook and bottle washer,” announced in a letter this week that he is retiring at the end of December.
“While I will miss our interactions, laughs, sighs and commiserations, I also look forward to this next stage in my life,” he said in the letter. “I plan on spending more time with family while I can. And should the NAMM show resume in person in the future, you can count on me to be there. As with all of you, it’s in my blood.”
He expressed that his time in MI has been meaningful. “Please know how much you all have meant to me over my past 50 years in this industry which we all love, and don’t at times!” he wrote. “Without each of you, Allparts wouldn’t exist and I wouldn’t have enjoyed our relationship. I do leave Allparts in capable hands; hands that can reach out and dial me when necessary to keep your businesses running smoothly, especially during such trying times.”
