Sonor’s new Teak Semi-Gloss veneer finish brings simple elegance to its Vintage series. This new look was hand-selected to fit the retro cool of these drums. Made in Germany, the Sonor Vintage series drums produce the full and articulate sound characteristics that Sonor’s known for. The nine-ply, 6-millimeter beech shells exude full, warm tone with evenly balanced lows, mids and highs that project like no other instrument. Hand-crafted using the Sonor proprietary Cross-Laminated Tension Free (CLTF) process and Optimum Shell Measurements (OSM), the slightly undersized diameters allow for ideal contact between the shell and the drumhead in all tunings.
