The new Sonor Kompressor series snare drums feature Sonor’s optimum shell measurement construction. The eight models are offered in three shell types and present sounds designed to transform air into sonic energy. The standard sizes — 14 inches by 5.75 inches and 14 inches by 6.5 inches — are the core of the series, while two specialized deeper models —13 inches by 7 inches brass and 14 inches by 8 inches aluminum — extend the palette of sounds. All Kompressor series snare drums are equipped with the patented TuneSafe System providing maximum tuning stability even under extreme playing conditions. Additional features include 2.3-millimeter steel power hoops, double or single lugs depending on the model and Remo USA drumheads.
