On-Stage’s new WPM200 Felt-Tip Mallets help players produce a deep, resonant tone on timpani and bass drum. The mallets’ Cork-core heads provide outstanding bounce, enabling control over projection and sustain. For a comfortable, natural hand grip, the shafts are thickest at the handle end. And with 15 inches of length, they make it easy to achieve proper beater positioning on a wide range of large drums. The striking end of the shafts is slightly tapered for balanced weight distribution and precise control. The heads are also soft enough to be used safely and effectively on percussion traditionally played with hands, tuned percussion instruments, cymbals and gongs.
