Latin Percussion (LP) has released a limited-edition set of 60th Anniversary Congas. Constructed of fiberglass to pay tribute to LP’s original drums and Top-Tuning Comfort Curve II rims representing the company’s latest evolution in conga technology, the set consists of an 11-inch quinto, 11.75-inch conga and a 12.5-inch tumba. Each drum shell is hand-painted with Roasted Hazel finish ensuring each drum is unique. They’re emblazoned with a commemorative LP60 badge and complemented by select black, rawhide heads and Rustic Bronze-plated hardware. When played they produce a deep resonant bass with cutting highs.
