Knilling has expanded its Anton Eminescu, European-made, step-up violins to its line of instruments. Anton Eminescu violins are handmade from tonewoods harvested in the Carpathian Mountains, seasoned, sorted and graded before the craftsmanship stage. The violins are hand-carved and graduated and oil varnish is hand applied. Final adjustment in the Knilling Custom Shop includes ebony pegs and tailpiece, Thomastik Dominant strings, French bridge and Hill-style E-string adjuster.
