Fender has launched the Finneas Acoustasonic Player Telecaster and Limited Edition Finneas Acoustasonic Telecaster, signature guitars crafted in collaboration with multi-Academy and Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and composer, Finneas. The Finneas Acoustasonic Player Telecaster and the Limited Edition Finneas Acoustasonic Telecaster guitars mark Fender’s first Acoustasonic artist signature guitars. Featuring custom electronics curated by Finneas, these models combine a magnetic Acoustasonic Shawbucker pickup and a Fishman undersaddle transducer to deliver clean electric, small-body acoustic, and dreadnought acoustic tones. Additionally, both models feature an onboard chorus effect selected by Finneas. The key differences between the two models is their finishes and their places of manufacture: the standard model boasts a Cappuccino Fade satin finish on its solid spruce top, while the LE features an Arctic White satin finish. Both guitars share a Modern Deep “C”-shape neck and a Shawbucker magnetic pickup. The standard model is made at Fender’s Ensenada facility in Mexico, and the limited edition is crafted at Fender’s facility in Corona, California.
