Breedlove Guitars has launched the MYRZILIAN II, a new custom shop guitar that features sides made from two different tonewoods: myrtlewood and Brazilian Rosewood. The thin pieces of myrtlewood and Brazilian rosewood were seamlessly joined required meticulous craftsmanship and innovative techniques. The solution was to inlay a strip of bloodwood over the joint, adding both strength and a striking visual element. The fretboard features a combination of myrtlewood and bloodwood inlays with a Brazilian Rosewood base, and the tuners are custom made from myrtlewood. The neck is crafted from East Indian rosewood with a bloodwood and myrtlewood stringer, creating a unique racing stripe effect.
