Top 100 Dealer Awards to Highlight Industry's Best

Nashville radio host Kelly Ford will host the Top 100 Dealer Awards starting at 6 p.m. Friday, June 29. From the Top 100 honorees, seven music retailers will be recognized in "Best Of" categories including: Best Store Turnaround, Best Customer Service, Best Store Design, Best Marketing and Sales Promotion, Best Online Engagement, Best Emerging Dealer/Rookie of the Year, and one recipient will be honored with the Music Makes a Difference award. The Dealer of the Year award will go to one of the recipients in the aforementioned categories.

"While there are thousands of great NAMM member retail stores out there, a theme that emerges with this year's Top 100 is an unwavering commitment to helping people of all ages begin their musical journey and then keep them actively engaged in music making for the long haul," said Joe Lamond, NAMM president and CEO. "We look forward to an exciting evening in Nashville to honor and celebrate the Top 100 Dealers as well as pay tribute to all music retailers who sit in the heart of their communities, inspiring and creating more music makers through their efforts."

Through a self-submission process, an independent panel of judges numerically rated the Top 100 Dealers across several categories including customer service, music advocacy, store design and promotions. Each submission was scored to determine the Top 100 list, the category awards and the overall Dealer of the Year award.

The Top 100 Dealer Awards party will be held in the Davidson Ballroom at the Music City Center during the Summer NAMM show. Dinner begins at 6 p.m. and the show starts at 7 p.m. All Summer NAMM badge holders are invited to attend this evening honoring excellence in music retailing.
