SLM Distributes Tomasi Flutes

St. Louis Music is now distributing Tomasi Flutes in the U.S. and Canada. Based in Vienna, Austria, Tomasi is renowned for its boutique instruments.

"I was drawn to Tomasi Flutes because they're well-built and fun to play," said Craig Denney, vice president of band and orchestra at St. Louis Music. "They possess all the must-haves in a boutique flute, as well as headjoint options rarely offered by other brands in this price category. They will do quite well in the North American market."

Tomasi Flutes was founded by Werner Tomasi, whose approach to the flute was inspired by his years as a classically trained musician. Tomasi Flutes offered three series of flutes. The 9 series offers an .835 solid silver headjoint on a silver-plated nickel silver body, while the 10 series features a .925 solid silver headjoint on a silver-plated nickel body. The 10S series features a .925 solid silver headjoint on a .925 solid silver body. All series also feature French pointed key arms, E-mechanism, offset G, B foot, and come complete with a case and accessories.
