JULY 9 I NAMM I SHOWS
NAMM Announces 74
First-time Exhibitors
NAMM will welcome 74 first-time exhibitors to this year's Summer NAMM, which kicks off Thursday at the Nashville Convention Center in Nashville, Tenn.
New-to-Summer NAMM companies make up 20 percent of this year's total exhibitor base. Manufacturers of stringed instruments comprise the largest group of new-to-Summer NAMM brands.
Twenty of the 74 new exhibitors represent strings, including acoustic and electric guitars, basses, violins, and the accessories that go with them.
"The Summer NAMM show platform allows all brands to shine, making it an ideal opportunity for new members to network, learn more about the industry and grow," said Joe Lamond, president and CEO of NAMM. "NAMM provides the support and business tools necessary to get members of all sizes to the next level in an increasingly competitive market."
Additionally, another 75 NAMM member companies that took a break from Summer NAMM last year will be exhibiting again, representing another 20 percent of total exhibitors at the show.
More than 10,000 music industry professionals from more than 20 countries plan to attend Summer NAMM. Along with new product releases, the event features educational workshops, live performances, hands-on music making and networking opportunities.
