SEPT. 13 I HAL LEONARD I TECHNOLOGY
Hal Leonard Does Digital

Hal Leonard recently installed a 650/1300 Continuous Feed Xerox laser printer at its 425,000-square-foot facilities in Winona, Minn. The largest Xerox laser printer in the state, it's 60 feet long and can print more than 70,000 pages per hour. The printer is capable of more than doubling the company's overall digital production, from approximately 86 million pages a year to more than a quarter billion.

"Digital printing is something that truly distinguishes our company," said Larry Morton, president of Hal Leonard. "Unlike our competitors, we have invested the resources and developed the in-house expertise for large-scale print on demand and short digital runs."

Hal Leonard's digital publishing expansion provides the company with a massive stockpile of digital files, along with earth-friendly and bottom-line benefits. These assets stand at the ready for use in apps, e-books, tablets and interactive whiteboards.
