MARCH 1 I ERNIE BALL I PARTNERSHIP Ernie Ball and Schecter recently announced an OEM partnership stating that worldwide shipments of Schecter instruments will now feature custom-gauge Ernie Ball strings. "Ernie Ball shares the same commitment to quality and creativity as Schecter and the players who use our products," said Marc LaCorte, vice president for Schecter. "It is only fitting that the instruments now come out of the box ready to rock with Ernie Ball strings." In 2010, Ernie Ball began manufacturing super-long scale strings based on the popularity of new Schecter products.
