OCT. 12 I ST. LOUIS MUSIC I AGREEMENT
St. Louis Music to
Distribute Gon Bops

St. Louis Music has been named the U.S. distributor for percussion maker Gon Bops. Founded in 1954, Gon Bops has pioneered several features and improvements in Latin instruments. Since February 2010, it has been a wholly owned subsidiary of Sabian.

"Gon Bops is one of the world’s most revered percussion makers, and we are excited to be representing this great brand,” said Stan Morgan, St. Louis Music president. “Gon Bops enhances St. Louis Music’s continuing commitment to provide our dealers with a broad selection of top-quality key products.”

“[St. Louis Music] serves so many dealers so well that we look forward to a wider reach into the market, especially the educational world,” said Lane Davy, Gon Bops vice president and executive director.

All instruments will be designed in the United States and made at one of its four factories in the United States, Peru, Taiwan and Thailand. Artists in the Gon Bops family include Alex Acuna, Tommy Aros and Scott Crago.
