Roland Rolls Out Fall Gear

Roland recently launched several products in all of its categories for the fall and holiday selling seasons.

Synths & Audio
In synths, the company’s Juno-Gi mobile synthesizer with digital recorder boasts a new sound set designed for live performance, a built-in eight-track digital recorder with 64 virtual tracks and easy integration. The Gaia Synthesizer Sound Designer is a software-based editor application for the Gaia SH01 synthesizer. It’s compatible with both Windows and Mac OS X and lets users access the Gaia synth’s entire set of sound parameters visually via a computer.

The RD-700NX is packed with professional features for gigging keyboard players, including Roland’s SuperNATURAL piano sound engine with the newly developed E. Piano based on SuperNATURAL technology. The AX-Synth shoulder synthesizer is now available in a black sparkle finish. The new glass-particle UV finish reacts to various lighting conditions, creating a glistening appearance under stage lighting.

The Octa-Capture USB 2.0 audio interface is a 10-input, 10-output device for computer-based multi-channel audio production and combines premium components and streaming technology.

Digital Keys
In digitals, the HPi-7F and HPi-6F are digital interactive pianos equipped with Roland’s SuperNATURAL piano sound engine, PHA ivory-feel keyboards and interactive DigiScore training programs. The FP-7F digital piano is the latest addition to the FP series piano lineup and adds four new features, including a vocal mic input with companion harmony effects.

The C-380 classic organ features an authentic, reverberant organ sound. With two 61-note manual keyboards with tracker action and a 30-note concave pedalboard, the C-380 provides organists with the experience of playing a real pipe organ.

Guitar Gear
Boss has added the ST-2 Power Stack distortion pedal to its compact pedal lineup. It gives guitarists both the sound and feel of playing through a large, cranked-up tube amp. Also from Boss is the PS-6 Harmonist, a compact pedal combining four intelligent pitch-shift effects and three-voice harmony. New to the Cube amp family is the Cube-XL guitar amp series, which includes the Cube-80XL, -40XL, -20XL and -15XL.
