APRIL 13 I PEARL RIVER I APPOINTMENTS Pearl River America has appointed Ying Luo as president and CEO at the company’s headquarters in Ontario, Calif. Luo will replace Jennette Xu, who is retiring and returning to China. Xu led Pearl River America twice between October 1999 and December 2009. Luo took the management reins in January 2010. From the head office in Guangzhou, China, Luo played a key role in establishing Pearl River Piano Group America over the last 10 years. Most recently, she served with the Pearl River Piano Group European branch as vice president in charge of sales in the European market, excluding German-speaking areas. “I am delighted to be working with our employees and district managers to implement the international strategy of our head office, and I look forward to further developing the Pearl River piano business in North America,” Luo said.
