Roland U.S. Makes Executive Changes

Roland recently announced a series of changes to its executive management in the United States. All of the changes will be effective as of April 1.

Dennis Houlihan, current president and CEO, will assume the responsibilities of chairman of Roland U.S. He will also continue in his role as a member of the board of directors of Roland Japan.

Houlihan will succeed Ikutaro Kakehashi, founder and special consultant of Roland Japan, who is resigning from his current roles as chairman and director of Roland U.S.

This move has led to the promotion of other executives. Chris Bristol, current senior vice president of sales and marketing, has been named the new president and CEO of Roland U.S. In this role, Bristol will assume primary responsibility for all day-to-day company operations. He will also be a member of the board of directors of Roland U.S.

Paul Youngblood, current president of Boss U.S., has been appointed to two different positions. First, he will serve as vice president of Boss and guitar products for Roland U.S. He will also be director of Boss Japan. He will assist with worldwide product development and marketing for Boss products.

Brian Alli, current national sales manager, has been promoted to vice-president of sales for Roland U.S. Alli joined Roland in 2006 and has worked in a variety of sales and marketing positions throughout the company. MI
