MARCH 16 I YAMAHA I EDUCATION
Yamaha Lowers
B&O Prices

Yamaha is currently offering lower price points for its YEP-201, YEP-321 and YEP-321S euphoniums and YBB-105WC 3/4 size top-action, three-valve lacquer tuba.

The lower-priced band and orchestral instruments are part of an effort by Yamaha to support music educators with restricted budgets.

“Educators today are constantly on the lookout for how to do more with less,” said Roger Eaton, director of marketing for Yamaha’s band and orchestral division. “This is one small way we can help educators not lose sight of the long-term durability of the time-tested Yamaha background brass without sacrificing their budget.”

This month, Yamaha coordinated a mailing to more than 20,000 educators to alert them of the new prices.

“Our district managers have been discussing other ideas with our dealers to get the message out to educators as they prepare their bids for next school year,” Eaton said.

Yamaha will also run print ads with the slogan “Quality Is Affordable,” which will appear in both national and state educator publications across the country. MI
