St. Louis Makes
Two New Deals

St. Louis Music (SLM), a division of U.S. Band & Orchestra Supplies, has announced it is the exclusive U.S. and Canadian distributor of Schreiber clarinets, oboes and bassoons; Keilwerth saxophones; and York brass instruments.

“We’re proud and excited to be distributing these famous brands and products in the brass and woodwind arena,” said Mark Ragin, chairman and CEO of SLM. “Keilwerth, York and Schreiber are world-renowned instruments, and we look forward to representing them in the U.S. SLM will meet the demand for these products in North America and make the brands more accessible for dealers, educators and consumers.”

SLM Takes Back Alvarez
SLM also announced on Jan. 14 a strategic alliance with Loud Technologies. Under the terms of agreement, SLM will serve as the exclusive sales, marketing and post-sales support agent for Loud’s Alvarez guitar brand in the United States, starting Feb. 1.

Distribution of the Alvarez brand outside the United States remains unchanged, and Loud will retain brand ownership and lead ongoing brand and product management.

“We are thrilled to add Alvarez to the roster of brands we distribute,” Ragin said. “We look forward to continuing the strong Alvarez tradition of creating unique dealer-oriented programs, such as our new six-months, interest-free financing through GE Capital, as well as building sales through the strong base of existing dealers Loud has supported in the past."
