Worldwide Music Opens

WorldWide Music Services, a Chicago-based print music distributor, opened its doors in October. The new company offers one-stop print music ordering for books and DVDs from Hal Leonard, Mel Bay, Music Sales, Alfred, FJH, Kjos, Carl Fischer, Theodore Presser, Jamey Aebersold, International and others.

Centrally located in the Midwest, WorldWide Music provides one- to three-day service throughout the United States, as well as specialized service to Canada, Mexico and other international countries.

According to a company statement, WorldWide’s staff consists of industry veterans that can function as virtual members of a store’s staff, handling the legwork on fulfilling special orders and providing guidance on title selections for stock.
