Moog History Unveiled

The Museum of Making Music and The Bob Moog Foundation have unveiled Waves of Inspiration: The Legacy of Moog, an exhibition that opened Aug. 29th and will run through April 30, 2010 at the NAMM museum in Carlsbad, Calif. The exhibit is the first public display of artifacts from Bob Moog’s archives.

The exhibition will feature rare, vintage synthesizers and other Moog instruments and memorabilia from the Bob Moog archives and private collections. The instruments in the exhibit trace the history of Moog’s work, beginning with vintage theremins and a prototype of the first modular synthesizer.
