AUG. 10 I SKIP'S MUSIC I EVENT Skip’s Music in Sacramento, Calif., held a wireless microphone clinic on July 28. It aimed to inform customers of the recent changes that took effect last November after the Federal Communications Commission sold off radio frequencies used by wireless microphone manufacturers. The operations of microphones with this bandwidth (700 MHz) are now unpredictable and subject to dropouts and bleed over interference from other new wireless devices that operate on this bandwidth. A factory specialist from Shure was on hand to discuss the changes.
