JULY 6 I AVALON MUSIC I VENUES Avalon Music of Wenatchee, Wash., is planning to move into a new retail space in August. According to The Wenatchee World, the $500,000 building will double Avalon Music’s space. The full-line dealership is currently housed in a temporary space behind Hart’s Fish & Chips. “I think this is a great time to take an opportunity and strengthen our market position,” said Steve Clem, Avalon’s co-founder. “The cost of building is between 25- and 30-percent lower than it was 18 months ago.” “We can see its progress as we come to work every day,” said LaVon Burman, Avalon’s store manager. “That just adds to the excitement.”
