JUNE 17 I CASCIO INTERSTATE MUSIC I PROMOTION
Cascio’s New Summerfest Groove

In keeping with a 63-year history of promoting Milwaukee-area music, Cascio Interstate Music will host 85 area bands during 11 straight days of live, original music at Summerfest from June 25 through July 5.

This year, the Cascio Stage is moving to a new location at the festival. The former Chipotle Rhythm Kitchen Stage will be Cascio’s new venue. It will offer concertgoers ample seating and sound in a green space with benches and tables to relax and enjoy the music.

“For over 40 years, Summerfest has made a point of showcasing great artists and their music,” said Cascio Interstate CEO Michael Houser. “This year, Cascio Interstate Music is again proud to provide opportunity at our exclusively local and original stage for Milwaukee-area bands with the perfect venue to display their outstanding talents, at our Cascio Stage. We believe this is a way for us to positively present artists right here in our community who deserve attention at one of the nation’s largest music festivals.”

This year, the performance stage has two co-presenters, Shepherd Express and WMSE Radio. The lineup spans genres from indie and alternative to hard rock, funk and acoustic sets. A sampling of bands scheduled to appear include Pezzettino, The Celebrated Workingman, Testa Rosa, Fable & The World Flat, John the Savage, The Color Truth and The Invaders. New this year will be performances from the Cascio-sponsored Milwaukee Bucks Wild! Drumline, a 21-member ensemble which performs at Milwaukee Bucks home games.
