JUNE 9 I NAMM I SERVICE NAMM is endorsing Music Freight, a shipping company that caters to the musical equipment industry. As a NAMM-endorsed business provider, Music Freight will offer additional shipping discounts to NAMM member companies. NAMM members will now be able to save on freight for shipments within the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada and Mexico. In addition, all participating NAMM members will receive a $10 credit per shipment up to $195 annually that can be applied toward NAMM member dues with special pricing available for large volume shippers. The $10 credits will be tracked by Music Freight, and refund checks will be issued by the company each year to customers who have an active membership with NAMM. “The services offered by Music Freight are great,” said Russell Blair, logistics manager at Orange Amplifiers, a NAMM member in Atlanta. “The Web site is easy and useful. We’ve been with them for one year and, so far, have had no complaints or concerns.” |  |
