KMC Music Finds New Digs

Griffin Land and KMC Music, a subsidiary of Fender, have signed a long-term, full-building office lease for 40,344 square feet at 55 Griffin Road South in Bloomfield, Conn.

“Once we were acquired by [Fender], it became obvious that we would need to move off the Kaman campus,” said Ed Miller, president of KMC. “It was imperative that we find a facility within close proximity of our current office, so it would not put a strain on our employees’ commute.”

Construction of the tenant improvements are underway and include remodeling the reception area, renovations to the open and private office areas, a cafeteria, a multi-purpose meeting/conferencing room, a sound room, and a photo studio. Occupancy of the new location is expected in July.
