APRIL 17 I NAMM I EDUCATION
NAMM Hosts Virtual Advocacy Day

NAMM will host its first Virtual Advocacy Day on May 12, so its members can participate in the association’s annual advocacy on Capitol Hill, learn about legislative activities that impact the music products industry and support access to music education in public schools.

Participants can log on to the live Web event to hear policy and political briefings hosted by NAMM consultants from Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough. The day-long event will feature political leaders and experts covering legislative topics and advocacy activities that support music education. Briefings will be provided by Phil Lader, former deputy chief of staff to President Clinton and a small business policy expert; Al From, CEO and founder of the Democratic Leadership Council; and Charlie Cook of the Cook Political Report.

The live Web cast event will start at 8:45 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time at namm.org. Participants can browse the agenda online and choose to view as much or as little of the event as they want. The Web cast will also be archived on the Web site for future viewing.

To confirm participation and sign up for more information on how to visit the site or contact your members of Congress, call or e-mail the NAMM member contact center at 800-767-6266 or info@namm.org.
