SEPT. 23 I NAMM I POLICY NAMM Shows Prohibit Visitors Under 16
NAMM, in an effort to ensure a professional business atmosphere at its trade shows, has announced a policy change, which will prohibit visitors under the age of 16 from attending the shows.
According to the policy, any visitors under the age of 16 may only attend NAMM trade shows if they are employees or endorsed artists verified by an active NAMM member company.
“Last year we asked all of our exhibitors to reduce their visitor allotments in an effort to keep the show floor clear of non-business-related attendees,” said Kevin Johnstone, director of trade shows. “This year, we’re continuing our work in this area in order to create the best possible business environment for all of our NAMM Members.”
The 2009 NAMM Show will be held January 15–18 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
